The rising intensity and frequency of extreme temperature events are caused due to climate change likely affect the entire world. In this context, Himalayas reported be very sensitive changes in extremes. study, we investigate variability extremes over Northwest early 21st century (2000–2018). Here, used 14 indices recommended by ETCCDI (Expert Team on Climate Change Detection Indices). present study reveals trends spatial scale for western part Himalayas. were assess behavior with their significance. This reports that northwestern region area has a cooling effect an increase cold spells, days/nights, frost days, while southwestern significantly shows warming effects increasing warm summer days.
